Using the web educational resources in the Career of Biology-Chemistry

The results obtained from investigations carried out in countries of the European Union in relation to the use of the Information Technology and Communications in order to support and transform the teaching-learning process in different educational institutions were taken as reference in the present paper. A process of contextualization of the mentioned results was made at the University of Pedagogical Sciences "Jose de la Luz y Caballero" where the changes that are carried out as part of the process of accreditation of the careers were taken into account. The potentialities of the Department of Development of Resources for Learning to upgrade the teaching staff were also taken into consideration. The results of the work in the career of Biology-Chemistry and the pedagogical experience permitted reveal the educational potentialities of the resources and tools offered by web pages in the educative processes.
