This article presents an approach to the history of the Karate-Do from their origins until their introduction in our country. It also deals with the importance of its history for those who practice it. We base this review on data, sometimes inexact or camouflaged in legends, and other pieces of information based on the documented fidelity, publications, of what could have been the true historical events.
