Abstract

School health currently constitutes a crucial area and center of attention for academics and researchers worldwide. The objective of this research is to describe the scientific literature related to school health in Higher Education. Information in this area is represented and mapped from publications indexed in Scopus over the last 22 years with the help of Biblioshiny software (RStudio). A total of 1379 documents were recorded during the period 2000–2022. The analysis indicates that: the literature on the research field is gradually growing; The Journal of School Health has the largest scientific production with 94 published manuscripts and is the most relevant of all journals; Developed countries such as the USA, the United Kingdom, and Australia dominate scientific production on the subject and the countries of Latin America and Africa are the least representative.
