Information management in the digital world. Relationship with the professional training process

The aim of this work was to expose the importance of the information management and its relationship with Infotechnology for the formation of the future teachers, as well as the essential elements of a teaching strategy applied to the first year of the Economics career at the University of Camagüey, which contributed to the development of the information management ability. The analysis revealed the needs of its systematic development in the formation process, while the student fosters his work culture based on knowledge and use of technology that supports the search, revision, processing and socializing processes of the information in digital format, necessary for the process management and decision taking in the institution where he would work, from the perspective of a continuous improvement of his capabilities in the formation process. Suggestions and guides were also offered to develop the ability of information management.
