Metodología para el entrenamiento linguo-didáctico de los maestros que imparten inglés en la Educación Primaria

The article deals with one of the most important problems of the English teaching-learning process in the elementary level related with the lingual-didactic training of the elementary teachers that teach English as a foreign language. In the elaboration of it, the author made a profound analysis of the sources related to the theme helped by different scientific methods (empirical and theoretical), as well as the peculiarities of the English teaching-learning in the elementary school. The methodology is composed by five main components: objectives to fulfill with its application, specific guidelines for the English teaching-learning process in the elementary schools, contents of the specific methodological competence which the elementary teachers need to direct the English learning process, phases of the methodology, and proposal of typical activities for the English teaching-learning process for children.
