Estrategia para potenciar la educación nutricional a través del vínculo escuela familia

A top health condition is achieved through many factors. One of them is nutrition, a central function of life. Research done on health education is varied. Some of it focuses on nutrition, offering consultation manuals and strategies. Nevertheless, there are still unsolved problems about this issue in the population. These problems have to do mainly with isolated actions, directed to extremely specific areas or sectors, without considering the school as the most important cultural center in the community. One way to facilitate the proper implementation of a nutritional education inside the teaching-learning process through cross-disciplinary relationships and the school-family nexus is by devising and coordinating measures where key factors take part and the school leads the process, to achieve joint influence.
