El Antiimperialismo Martiano

Abstract

The current work is about José Martí’s antimperialist ideas but from a diffrent point of view searching for precisions which help as prove the knoledge José Martí had about the basic elements of imperialism. His conception about monopoly; evidenced in the descriptions he made in his writings about it. His valuation about the Washington Congress, with the criterio expressed by the centroamerican delegates and the northamerican’s imposing attitude, or his valuation about the real aim of the fight he expressed in his will letter to Manuel Mercado all that allows us to make a valuation to demonstrate that José Martí was a real antimperialist.
