El horizonte de la lengua española en la medicina cubana

Abstract

“El horizonte de la lengua española en la medicina cubana” constitutes a set of experiences with drug-addict patients from El Quinqué and El Cocal clinics in Holguín. The researcher   professors worked with patients whose mother longues are mainly Portuguese, English and French. These persons need to speak Spanish so as to receive medical assistance, as well as to understand and assimilate the orientations by specialists. Ove to their physical and intellectual unfitness they need a special teaching with special methods and procedures, and that is precisely the object of this current investigation – the search for special methods and procediures. Taking into account the results obtained from the lessons, surveys and interviews to patients, specialists and workers from both medical centers, the researchers offer their considerations and suggestions to facilitate the work with this kind
