Holguín City, a Growing and Developing Cultural Site

Abstract

The work exposes a panoramic view on the cultural history of Holguín City from its foundation to the present. Its objective is to give information about the characteristics and transformations that have taken place in the territory, which constitute the bases of the development of a city whose cultural ambiance, beauty and charm have allowed it to gain an acknowledged place as a cultural site in the country. The main methods used were the following: analysis, synthesis, historical- logical and the analysis of documents. A historical and cultural synthesis of the city was obtained taking into account the evolution of the city.
