Abstract

The analysis on the surging of the sculpture like manifestation of Plastic Arts and your evolution at Holguín's city, since the revolutionary triumph to the decade of 1990, has been the objective of the present investigative work. They have had in account the different modes for it: Environmental commemorative sculpture, environmental sculpture not commemorative and the sculpture of living room, also a brief assessment becomes technical - reliable of some of the most representative works. They had in account aspects such for the assessment like: Materials, techniques, influences of artistic style. Illumination, color, relationship with the environment, and conceptual characteristics. Were of great importance for the necessary information's compilation the testimonies contributed by artists and personalities of Holguin´s culture, the artists' revision of files and catalogs, as well as comprehensive analysis of works
