Desenvolvimento de competências matemáticas através da plataforma Khan Academy em estudantes do ensino médio

Resumo

Este estudo, de abordagem qualitativa, tem como objetivo analisar o impacto da plataforma Khan Academy no desempenho académico, na equidade educativa e na motivação dos estudantes em ambientes de educação a distância, por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura publicada entre 2013 e 2024. Foi realizada uma busca exaustiva nas bases de dados Scielo, SCOPUS e Google Scholar utilizando termos como "impacto da Khan Academy na educação a distância", "Khan Academy e aprendizagem online" e "efeitos da Khan Academy no desempenho académico". A metodologia consistiu numa análise documental estruturada em três fases: primeiro, excluíram-se os estudos que não cumpriam os critérios temporais ou idiomáticos; segundo, filtraram-se os artigos de acesso aberto relevantes; e terceiro, avaliou-se a qualidade metodológica dos estudos pré-selecionados. Foram identificados 21 artigos que oferecem uma visão integral do fenómeno. Os resultados e a discussão indicam que a Khan Academy exerce um efeito positivo e significativo no desempenho académico, além de contribuir para a equidade educativa e potencializar a motivação na aprendizagem online. Em conclusão, esta análise sublinha a relevância da Khan Academy como uma ferramenta pedagógica eficaz na modalidade a distância.
