This article elaborates on the category aesthetic feeling from a pedagogical orientation, and it is based on the need of providing an answer to the evidenced theoretical and methodological insufficiencies related to aesthetic education in teacher education courses. Theoretically, it was based on the interpretative paradigm, i.e. in the qualitative methodological perspective, given its humanistic character, established on document analysis and on workshops with subject specialists and personalities from the educational context, which led to substantiate the theoretical and pedagogical systematization of the category aesthetic feeling, which is set as a need in the cultural and professional education of the students.
