José Lezama Lima. Un ascenso perpetuo hacia la luz

Abstract

José Lezama Lima is considered as an important and relevant writer in the Republic epoch and in the beginning of the revolutionary process, because he uses in his writings, intelligence, knowledge as wellas literary beauty. In this works about critic there are many painters and other artists, in general, who were outstanding as creators in the field of art. For Lezama the image is always a personal interpretation of the object. The relation between an object and its image is conditioned by the fact that the latter is a representation of the former. José Lezama Lima was born in Havana, Cuba. It was the area which is the background or inspiration for many of his periodical works and his poetry.
