The article approached relevant aspects about the life and work of Ph. D Arnaldo Benigno Zaldívar Leyva, one of the most outstanding educators of the University of Pedagogical Sciences in Holguín. Most investigators devoted their research work, to promote significant aspects of his life and work, so as to, preserve and enrich the history of this institution. Such research studies became important sources in meeting the needs of present and future Cuban teachers.
