An upgrading program for training the teachers aimed at the treatment of health education of the Agronomy special

The article aims at the elaboration of an upgrading program for the teaching staff to treat the health education of the Agronomy specialty students. It includes the bases of the program, key insufficiencies, theoretical foundation, professional problem to solve, objectives of the upgrading program, contents of the topics proposed, definition of the technical disciplines within the specialty, thematic points of the priority program for the promotion and Health Education in the National Educational System, abilities, values system and bibliography. Scientific methods were also applied, as well as the consultation of regulations and documents issued by the Educational Ministry. This allowed to shape the structure, coherence and projection of the topic. The article is part of the results of a research project sponsored by the Faculty of Technical Sciences, and it is also a useful material for professors engaged in finding solutions to the problems detected in their professional context. Therefore, the proposal is a complement to enrich the pedagogical efforts.
