Sexual education: currentchallenge of alleducators
Abstract
Sexual education is part of the integral education of children, adolescents and young people. However, connoted social and individual consequences on a global scale, and contextual, among which are: high rates of early pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases and irresponsibility to sexual and reproductive health account for the need to address this educational dimension. The objective of this paper is to design an educational intervention program for the prevention of early pregnancy in students of the basic level, based on an educational-preventive model. As methods and techniques were used, among others: interviews, surveys, observation and preexperiment. An educational intervention program is provided. The implementation of the program through a preexperiment, allowed to verify its effectiveness for the proposed purposes.It is expressed in the incidence of the same when minimizing the insufficiencies in the education of the sexuality and the educational prevention of the precocious pregnancy of the students of basic education superior of the ITSUP of Manabí Ecuador.
