The family and the stimulation of children’s knowledge with retard in the psychic development
Abstract
The application of a proposal to prepare scholars’ families with retard in psychic development in the stimulation of motivation for learning was declared as the objective of the investigation. The logic of the investigation was possible by means of some theoretical methods such as: induction-deduction, analysis-synthesis and historical-logical. In order to diagnose the current situation in the preparation of the scholars’ families, interviews and surveys were applied to characterize those families. The results obtained with the application of techniques corroborated the insufficient preparation of families; it was also confirmed the necessity of orientation towards the contribution to stimulation and motivation. Among the conclusions it was confirmed that motivational stimulation is a necessity in scholars with retard in psychic development. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that the close relation with families is a condition to achieve an effective development of the learning process, departing from the insufficient motivation for this process that is evidenced in the exploration of the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of the scholars´ necessities.
