La interdisciplinariedad como soporte para los estudios del medio ambiente
Abstract
The work presents an approach to interdisciplinarity from the philosophical viewpoint. It is supported by the general dialectic principle, related to the concatenation of all phenomena of nature, society and thought. From the science point of view, it is different to gather complementary studies made by different specialists in a more collective ambit. It implies volition and compromise to elaborate a more general frame in which each of the disciplines gets in touch and becomes dependant. Here, an interaction between two disciplines is established, and as a result a mutual intercommunication and enrichment is produced, consequently, a transformation of their methods, concepts, and main terminologies. It means, above all, a change of attitude towards the problems of knowledge, a substitution of the fragmented conception by a unitarian conception of man and the reality he lives (Torres Santomé, 1994).
