Abstract

This article deals with the position taken by José Martí during the events of the Chiquita War. The authors provide some points of view from the analisis of various documents and letters written by Martí about this important historical event, finally the article reveals some of the teachings of the Chiquita War for the preparing of the new liberation movement.
